David Braeutigam is an experienced Healthcare Technology Management consultant with an extensive background in biomedical and clinical engineering operations. Since 1979, David has focused on developing leaders, improving customer satisfaction, expanding in-house biomedical and clinical engineering departments, supporting certification, leading benchmarking, publishing numerous articles in trade magazines and speaking at local and national associations.

David routinely speaks at national and local conferences. He recently presented at the annual North Central Biomedical Assocation conference on "The Need to Partner with Your IT Department." At the MDExpo Conference in Houston in April 2019 he presented on "The Future of HTM and Healthcare". At the 2018 AAMI Conference he spoke about Benchmarking.

David is certified as a Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM), certified as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), certified in Microsoft Networking and is certified in Information Technology Best Practice (ITIL).

David has a MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.
